PASSOVER, True Meaning 6|Ahnsahnghong!

Thursday, December 31, 2009

In AD 325, the Passover was abolished by the Nicea Council under the leadership of Roman Emperor Constantine. Therefore, no one was able to keep the Passover since that time as Jesus Christ commanded. Then, how can anyone be forgiven of their sins and have eternal life? This period was known as the Dark Ages. But merciful God, opened up the way in the OT so that the Israelites born in the desert were able to keep the Passover. The very next day, they were in the promised land of Canann. This prophecy too is to be fulfilled nowadays.
In Isiah 25:6-9, God said that death is swallowed up forever thru aged wine. For a long time, since 325 AD, Passover was not celebrated. However, merciful God, 2nd coming Christ, Christ Ahnsahnghong, brought back the Passover in these days to Mount Zion. That's why we can say with confidence, surely this is our God! He brought salvation to us sinners who were destined to destruction and freed us from sin! Therefore, we can go back to our promised land- THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN! THANK YOU, HEAVENLY FATHER, CHRIST AHNSAHNGHONG!

PASSOVER, True Meaning 5|Ahnsahnghong!

In the book of 1Corinthians 11:23-25, Apostle Paul said, " For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you. The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, He broke it and said, This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me." In the same way after the supper he took the cup saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me". Apostle Paul followed the examples of Jesus Christ even after joining the truth 10 years after Jesus resurrected. Clearly, Apostle Paul celebrated the Passover as Jesus Christ commanded his disciples to do. This is the fulfillment of the 2nd account of the Passover when in the Israelites were in the Desert of Sinai. Once again, prophecy was fulfilled.
The disciples continued to keep the Passover. However, what happend after the 2nd account of teh Israelites keeping the Passover. Did they continue? No. If you recall, God told Joshua to circumcise the Israelites again. Why? The men of military age that came out of Egypt had died because they had disobeyed the Lord. Those born in the desert had not been circumcised which was a necessary regulation to keep the Passover. Therefore, if the males were not circumcised, then this means they were not keeping the Passover, the lasting ordinance. This was also fulfilled in the New Testament.....

PASSOVER, True Meaning 4|Ahnsahnghong!

In Romans 15:4, God said, For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragment of the Scriptures we might have hope." The Old Testament is a prophecy and shadow of which its fulfillment and reality is found in the New Testament. In the Old Testament, we read the origination (Exodus 12:1-14) of the Passover that God commanded the Israelites to keep in order to escape destruction and to gain freedom. Then what is its fulfillment in the New Testament?
In Matthew 26:17-19, Jesus Christ told His disciples to prepare to celebrate the Passover. In verses 26-28, Jesus Christ celebrated the Passover and said the bread is His body and the wine His blood. In the OT, the Israelites celerated the Passover to escape slavery but in the NT, why did the disciples need to celebrate the Passover? Why do we need to celebrate the Passover? We are also slaves. Not physical slaves bound by chains but according to the Bible, we are slaves to sin and death (John 8:34)!
After the Israelites, celebrated the first Passover, they were on their way to Canaan by way of the Desert of Sinai. Spritually, we are also in a desert but this desert is our desert of faith!
Let's find out the fulfillment of the 2nd account of the Passover.

Life is in the blood|Ahnsahnghong

God created everything in this world with a purpose. In Revelation 4:11, it reads, "You are worthy, our Lord and God , to receive glory, honor and power, for you created all things and by your will they were created and have their being". Even in the blood, God created a purpose, His will.
I never realized the importance of blood. It carries the nutrients and oxygen to the cells and transfers waste away from them. Without oxygen, we cannot breathe and if we cannnot breathe, then there is no more life.
Blood banks are always looking for donors. With one donor's blood, they separate it into components that can be useful for many patients. It helps people with anemia, cancer and other potentially life threatening diseases. Then what is God's will in the creation of the blood?
Truly, life is in the blood. Thru the celebration of the Passover, at the time of Exodus, the blood was a sign. If God saw the blood, no destruction occurred. In the New Testament, Jesus Christ fulfilled the Old Testment by celebrating the Passover with His disciples, saying that the bread is His body and the wine His blood which was given for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life! If we keep the Passover as Jesus commanded, then it also serves as a sign where no destruction will come upon us. Even more so, we are allowed the forgiveness of our sins and receive the opportunity to go back to the kingdom of heaven where only eternal life exists!

Gentleness|Ahnsahnghong

In the Bible, God showed many examples of being gentle. Thru the many examples, we also to need to follow His examples. When we are gentle, we are filled with humility and kindness. Christ showed many examples of humbleness and thru His humbleness we can find many acts of love. Therefore, when we give this love to others, they can feel the love of Elohim God. Thru this we can also glorify them, I hope and pray to Elohim God that I can put their examples and teachings into practice. I want to be filled with thier love continuously so that I may also give it.

David and Goliath|Ahnsahnghong

Wednesday, December 30, 2009

I think everyone has heard and/or read about the famous story of David and Goliath in 1Samuel 17. From a physical standpoint, it is almost impossible if not definately impossible for someone to be in such a predicament and actually have a victorious encounter like David did. Sure, people sometimes relate it to real life scenarios and may have compared it to a little guy (employee) taking on the fierce and intimadating big guy (large company). And we usually know what path that goes. Companies have wealth and power while the little guy has, well, some courage to stand up.When thinking of this, again, from any persceptive you look at this, the big guy usually always wins.

However, thru the story of David and Goliath, God let me realize so many things....
David loved God so much and God was always with him. Even though David was but a small young boy, he displayed and confidently boasted about GOD. He did not wear the armor nor took a sword into battle. All he took with him was 5 smooth stones, a sling and bravely fought in the name of the Lord. WoW! When we are on God's side, we always win no matter how big or intimidating we may feel the situation is. When we truly believe in Elohim God and boldy proclaim their truth, who can stop us? No one. God's mighty power, promise and love will always TRIUMPH!

PASSOVER, True Meaning 3|Ahnsahnghong!

The Israelites celebrated the first Passover in Egypt and the second time in the Desert of Sinai.
God said that th Passover is a lasting ordinance. Let's find out if they kept it a third time? In Joshua 5:2, the Lord commanded Joshua to circumcise the Israelites again. But we were trying to find a third account of the Passover, right? Then what did circumcision have to do with the Passover? In Exodus 12:43-49, the Lord told Moses and Aaron about the regulations to keep the Passover. As we read the verses, God lets us understand that circumcision was necessary in order to keep the Passover.
When we go back to Joshua 5:2, God said that the Israelites were to be circumcised again?.? But can circumcision be done again? No. If we contimue to read Joshua 5:4-6, the men of military age who came out of Egypt had died because they had disobeyed the Lord. How? The men of military age escaped Egypt thru the Passover and were able to do so because they were circumcised-a regulation that needed to be done in order to keep the Passover. However, all those born in the desert, were they circumcised (verse 5)? No. Therefore, were they keeping the Passover, the lasting ordinance that God commanded them to keep? No. When we read verses 7-12, God allows us understand that those born in the desert, the ones that God commanded Joshua to circumcise, were the ones that were going to celebrate the Passover. In verse 10, we can clearly see that they celebrated the Passover at the appointed time of January 14th at twilight. How merciful is God! The very next day after they celebrated the Passover, they ate of the product of Canann-the land God promised them! What does all this have to do with us? Actually, the this is a prophecy!!!

PASSOVER, True Meaning 2|Ahnsahnghong!

In Exodus 12:14, God said, This is a day (Passover) you are to commemorate;for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the Lord- a lasting ordinance. God commanded that the Passover is a festival that was to be celebrated as a lasting ordinance. Then, when the Israelites escaped Egypt by keeping the Passover, by God's promise, they were on their way to the land of Canaan. On their way to Canaan, they had to pass the Desert of Sinai. Since the Passover is a lasting ordinance and the Isralites had not reached the land that God promised them yet, should there be another account of the Passover? YES!
In Numbers (:1-3) it reads, " The Lord said to Moses in the Desert of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they came out of Egypt. He said, "Have the Israelites celebrate the Passover at the appointed time. Celebrate it at the appointed time, at twilight on the fourteenth day of this month, in accordance with all its rules and regulations." Clearly, the Israelites followed God's command and celebrated the Passover on Janury 14th in the evening. Did they continue to keep God's command?

PASSOVER, True Meaning 1|Ahnsahnghong!

Tuesday, December 22, 2009

In the time of Exodus (Exodus 12:1-14) God established the first account of the Passover with the Israelites who were in bondage of slavery in Egypt for over 430 years. The Israelites cried and prayed to God for freedom. God sent Moses to let the Israelites know to celebrate the Passover, which is a lasting ordinance, at the appointed time on January 14th at twilight by sacred calendar year. They were to take a perfect, one year old lamb and slaughter it. Then they were to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the door frames where they were. When God passed thru Egypt on the Passover night, where ever God saw the blood which was the sign, no destrucion came (10th plague of the death of the first born son). However, where ever the Passover was not kept, God sent destruction. The Israelites received their freedom and marched towards Canaan, the land God promised the Israelites, flowing with milk and honey. Since God proclaimed the Passover to be a lasting ordinance, we should see a second account of the Passover in the Desert of Sinai as the Israelites marched towards Canaan.

PASSOVER, True Meaning|Ahnsahnghong!

Passover! Passover! Passover! How important is the Passover. In the Bible, God continuously reminded us about the importance of keeping the Passover. Thru the Passover, we learned that we receive the forgiveness of sins, eternal life and Jesus Christ's body and blood. How beautiful is God's adminstration for us who were destined to die because of transgressions and sins. By keeping the Passover, we receive and appreciate God's promise. By keeping the Passover, we can understand and realize how close we are to entering the kingdom of heaven and that without the Passover, we cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.
Moreover, the Passover is a prophecy. Thru the Passover, we not only receive the forgiveness of our sins, not only do we receive eternal life but there is something hidden inside the Passover. There is a deeper meaning......

God's Safety Place|Ahnsahnghong!

Starting in Pre-K, every October, the school would have the local firemen come in and teach about fire safety. They would hand out information about fire safety, coloring books, plastic fireman hats and they would sometimes bring in the dalmation dog that rode with them in the fire engine truck. I remember it being a lot of fun, especially when they displayed the STOP, DROP and ROLL motion. What I specifically remember is how the firemen made it a point to always talk to our families about having an escape route in the event a fire broke out. They would have us draw a map of our house and pin point the exits.
I Thank God so much because thru His words, he also has a planned escape route, a safety place where He dwells. In Micah 4:1-2, it reads, In the last days, the mountain of the LORD's temple will be established as chief amoung the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and people will stream to it. Many nations will come and say, "Come let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Zion, where the law of God comes from, has been established in the last days. And as God promised, many nations stream to it! God's dwelling place is Holy Mountain Zion where people know true God!

Spiritual Goals-Ahnsahnghong!

Every year in December, we look forward to a new year. The new year to put the past behind and work towards a better future. Many of us make a list of things to do, things to accomplish and things to let go. For some, it's a new job, a new diet, a new attitude and a new outlook on life.
We make promises to ourselves that we will live a more positive life to calm down the stress. Another, is to have a better appreciation of our family, friends and what we have. More importantly however, I want to strive more not only to be physically ok but spritually sound.
In the Bible, in Hosea 6:3 it reads, Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. Just as we put forth much effort in our physical lives, I want to make every effort to know GOD. As parents, we know our children very well and our children know us. In the same way, GOD our everlasting Father, gave us his teachings, examples and words of eternal life thru the Bible. I truly want to know Him and resemble Him so that He can acknowledge me. I want to accomplish this my pressing on to know him and make it a continued effort until the day we go back to heaven!

Passover, Eternal life (4)- Ahnsahnghong!

Sunday, November 29, 2009

Where does Jesus Christ want to lead us? In Revelation 21:4 it reads, "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain for the old order of things has passed away". Can we ever experience no more death, mourning, pain or crying on this earth? No! It does not stop on earth. But what about heaven? Can we enter heaven with death? Then what must we get rid of first? Death. Can we enter heaven without the Passover? No! We must keep the Passover that Jesus Christ has commanded us to keep in order to receive the promise of the firgiveness of sins and eternal life. Let us keep the true Passover that was reestablished by 2nd coming Christ, Christ Ahnsahnghong by which we receive the great blessing of going to heaven where there is true and everlasting happiness!

Passover, Eternal life (3)- Ahnsahnghong!

In the New Testament, who commanded us to keep the Passover and what was the result?
In Matthew 26:17-19, 26-28, Jesus Christ and his disciples prepared for and celebrated the Passover. However, the Passover is no longer celebrated by slaughtering a one year perfect lamb. Jesus Christ is the Passover lamb! (1 Corinthians 5:7). On the Passover which is kept at the appointed time on January 14th at twilight by sacred calendar, Jesus gives his flesh and blood thru the Passover bread and wine. Thru Jesus Christ flesh and blood given on the Passover, He promised us the forgiveness of sins and eternal life! We need the forgiveness of sins because according to Romans 6:23, the wages of sin is death". Our payment for sin is death. No one in this world lives forever. However, Jesus promised us the forgiveness of sins on the Passsover. Therefore, if there is no more sin, then thre is no more death! What only remains is eternal life. We receive freedom from slavery of sin and death! (John 8:34). Let's confirm again, that we receive eternal life thru the Passover. In John 6:53, Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the son of man and drink his blood you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and I will raise him up at the last day." We receive Jesus' body and blood if we partake in the Passover which gives us the promise of eternal life. What a great result! We receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life thru the Passover! Where does God want to lead us? to have eternal life on earth? Three has to be something more....

Passover, Eternal life (2)- Ahnsahnghong!

To understand the history of the Israelites, please refer to Exodus 12:1-14. Here is a summary: The Israelites were enslaved in Egypt for 430 years and they prayed eagerly to God that they may be freed. Jehovah God sent Moses to tell Pharoah to let His people go otherwise God would send plagues. In all God sent 10 plagues to Eqypt. Before the last plague, God sent Moses to tell the Israelites to celebrate the Passover (first account/origination) of the Passover. The Passover was to be celebrated as God commanded them: take a one year old perfect lamb, slaughter it on the fourteenth day of the first month (January 14th) at twilight or evening. The blood was to be taken and put on the top and sides of the door frames where they were and when God saw the blood it was a sign that the Passover was kept. For those who kept the Passover, no destruction came to them. However, for those who did not keep the Passover, the 10th plague, the plague of the first born male whether person or animal were destroyed. As a result for those who kept the Passover, they were able to escape slavery and escape destruction. In obeying God's command of keeping the Passover, they had a good result. This account happened in the Old Testament but what about the New Testament? Who commanded us to keep the Passover and what was the result?

Passover, Eternal life- Ahnsahnghong!

When most people think or read about the Old Testament (time of Israelites), they regard it as a good story. However, everything written in the Bible has God's purpose in it. In Romans 15:4, it reads, "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us..." Thru the history of the Israelites, we can understand the importance and the origination of the Passover. Two key points are: Who commanded us to keep the Passover and what was the result for those who kept the Passover.
As you have been reading in my previous blogs, you have probably stumbled on a common theme- Passover. The Passover is the core of the Bible. The Passover is the key that unlocks the mystery of Jesus Christ who is God Almighty and gives the forgiveness of sins and eternal life. The celebration of the Passover will continue to come up because it is essential to our lives. By celebrating the Passover, we remember Jesus Christ. We come to realize and understand how much mercy and grace God has bestowed on sinners who were destined to die because of transgressions. I don't want to stop giving Thanks to 2nd coming Christ- Christ Ahnsahnghong for reestablishing the Passover that was abolished in 325 AD. Thank you for your endless love.

Tree of Life (6)- Ahnsahnghong!

If Passover is the the true source to receive eternal life, then why has it not been celebrated. Looking back historically, we know that Jesus kept the Passover (Matthew 26:17-19, 26-28), the disciples also kept the Passover thru the example of Jesus Christ (1Corinthians 11:23-26) but what happened to the celebration of the Passover after the disciples? In AD 325, by order of the Nicea Council thru Roman Emperor Constantine, the Passover was abolished! The way to the Tree of Life was blocked again! Who can get eternal life? Who can receive the forgiveness of sins? If God came at that time to judge, who can be saved? But we have a merciful God! God's plan of adminsitration is perfect! In Hebrews 9:27-28, it reads, "Just as man is destined to die once and after that to face judement, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many peeople (1st coming Christ) and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him." I love this verse so much!! Here we realize that Christ will come back a second time to bring salvation! Salvation to a sinner is eternal life! But how do we receive eternal life? Thru the Passover! According to this verse 2nd coming Christ will bring salvation (Passover) but in the Garden of Eden who gave eternal life? GOD Almighty! Again, 2nd coming Christ brought salvation, eternal life thru the Passover in 1948 but only God almighty can give eternal life, then 2nd coming Christ, Christ Ahnsahnghong is true God Almighty! Thanks you for restoring the precious feasts by which we receive your grace and love!

Tree of Life (5)- Ahnsahnghong!

Thru the Passover that Jesys Christ established with his body and blood we receive eternal life. However, in the Garden of Eden, the Tree of Life gives eternal life. However, the Tree of Life was the parable that Jesus Christ spoke about 2,000 years ago. Therefore, the reality of the Tree of Life in the garden of Eden is the Passover! God Almighty in the Garden of Eden blocked the Tree of Life and only God can unblock it. However, in the New Testament, Jesus Christ gives us eternal life thru the Passover. Then, Jesus must be who? According to John 10:10, it reads, The theif comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." Thru this verse, we realize that Jesus came to give eternal life because He came to give it to the full. As we know, our physicial lives are temporary but our spiritual lives will be eternal when we partake in the Passover. As we know, only God gives eternal life but in the verse John 10:10, Jesus Christ gives eternal life, so Jesus Christ must be God Almighty!
However, nowadays, who celebrates the Passover by which we receive Jesus Christ's body and blood that gives eternal life? Something must have happened to the Passover!

Tree of Life (4)- Ahnsahnghong!

Wednesday, November 18, 2009

The Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden gives eternal life. However, God blocked the way to eat from the Tree of Life. Since the Tree of Life is a parable, then what is the reality of the Tree of Life in the New Testament that gives us eternal life?
When we read John 6"53-56 it reads, Jesus said to them, " I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and I wil raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.Whoever, eats my flesh and drinks my blood, remains in me, and I in him.
In the Garden of Eden, the Tree of life gave us eternal life. Jesus Christ said 2000 years ago, Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and I wil raise him up at the last day. The reality of the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden is Jesus Christ's body and blood. We receive His body and blood thru the precious feast of the Passover as mentioned in Matthew 26:17-19 and verses 26-27.
God blocked the way to the Tree of life and only He can unblock the way. In the New Testament, Jesus Christ said that if we eat his flesh and drink his blood thru the Passover we have eternal life. Then who is Jesus Christ?

Tree of Life (3)- Ahnsahnghong!

Where can the solution of death be found? In the Garden of Eden. In Genesis 3:21-24 it reads, And the Lord God said, "The man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever. " So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.
Here we see another tree that God mentioned- Tree of Life. God said if you eat from this tree you will lie forever. Therefore, the characteristic of this Tree is eternal life. This is not only Adam and Eve's solution but also our solution BUT what happened to this tree? God placed cherubim (angels) with flaming sword to guard way to the Tree of life. Although this is our solution to our problem of death, God blocked the way to the Tree of Life that gives eternal life. If God blocked the way, only God can unblock the way. This is the parable that Jesus spoken about 2,000 years ago that was hidden! However, how can we find the Tree of life on this earth. We have heard of discoveries of ancient fossils but where is the Tree of life that gives us eternal life? If this is a parable then what is the reality of the tree of Life in the New Testament that gives us eternal life?

Tree of Life (2)- Ahnsahnghong!

Monday, November 16, 2009

In the book of Matthew, Jesus Christ 2000 years ago, spoke a parable as follows in Matthew 13:34-35, Jesus spoke all of these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable. So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet: " I will open my mouth in parables. I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world".
A parable is a story with a hidden meaning or message. Jesus Christ spoke a parable that was hidden since the creation of the world. Out of the 66 books in the Bible, the book of Genesis depicts the creation story. Let's go to Genesis to understand what was hidden.
Genesis 2:16-17 reads, And the Lord God commanded the man: " You are free to eat from any tree in the garden but you must not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.
We are all too familiar with the story of Adam and Eve. As we know, Adam and Eve were tempted by Satan and ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil from which God commanded them not to eat from. Before eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, Adam and Eve were immortal (eternal life) beings. However, as soon as they came to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil they became mortal beings. They lost eternal life and now come to face death. The tree of knowledge of good and evil did not contain some type of poison. God's words commanding them,... for when you eat of it you will surely die" resulted in death because of disobedience. This is our situation too. We had eternal life in the kingdom of heaven but because we disobeyed God and followed the schemes of Satan, we were sent to this earth putting on the flesh to ultimately face death.
But is this what Jesus Christ was trying to tell us that was hidden? No. However, Adam and Eve's problem of death is just like our problem. Where can the solution of death be found? If we think of it this way, if a crime is committed in California, the detectives on the case will search for evidence in California, not in Texas. In the same way, the problem of death originated in the Garden of Eden so where must the solution be?

Tree of Life- Ahnsahnghong!

God said in Psalms: 90:9-10: All of our days pass away under your wrath; we finish our years with a moan. The length of our days is seventy years-or eighty,if we have the strength; yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass and we fly away.
In this way of life, we do our best to take care of ourselves to make the most of our lives here on Earth. We eat right, diet and exercise and take daily supplements. For those who are more fortunate, there are medicinal approaches to prolonging life like plastic surgery and the like. Due to many technological advances, many options have become available and accomodating that would not have been an option 50 years ago.
However, one thing is for certain in our way of life is this: beginning and an end. The one thing that we all share in common, whether poor or rich, young or old, caucasian or colored, privileged or not is Death. The subject of death is very sensitive and does not conjure up joyful thoughts. Instead, it stirs up thoughts and words of the unknown and the inevitable.
Even though, we are all destined to die because of the grievious sins we committed against God in heaven as previusly mentioned in the study of the Secret of the Forgiveness of sins, merciful Elohim God provides a solution to our problem of death.
Historically, many explorers, king and queens that span from India to China to Europe have tried desperately to find the elixir of life or as some know the fountain of youth but have failed miserably with each attempt. Only God can provide the solution to death which is eternal life because Elohim God have eternal life. The solution can only be found in the.... Bible!

Rules|Ahnsahnghong

Wednesday, November 11, 2009

When I was little, my favorite and still favorite sport is basketball. I remember feverishly running up and down the court playing both offense and defense at any given time. The captain would call out the plays in anticipation of making a basket or alerting the team to take their position to keep the opposing team from scoring. In all of this, the referees kept a close watch on every detail of the plays. Their function is to ensure that all of the players are adhering to the established rules of the game. Anyone found not adhering to the rules, would be called out and in effect cause a penalty on the team and the player.
In the book of Romans 1:19-20, it reads .."since what may known about God is plain to them because God made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. God made his words plain or simple to us. Jesus Christ said, I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. (John 13:15). In John 14:15, Jesus Christ also said, If you love me, you will obey what I command. God made it simple. God showed us his example. God showed us how to truly love him.
Let's follow all of God's rules that lead to eternal salvation: Sabbath, Passover, Feasts of God and Elohim God (Heavenly Father and Mother!)

Value|Ahnsahnghong!

As you are walking along the sidewalk that you normally take to go to work, you happen to glance at the pavement and notice a green piece of paper that is crumbled up and dirty and some what wet. Upon further examination, you realize the $20 marked on the four corners. You come to realize that you found a $20 dollar bill and quickly retrieve it and put it in your pocket and walk away with a smile from ear to ear. Even though the $20 dollar bill was crumpled , dirty and wet, it did not lose its value at all.
The Word of God is so valuable! Its existance for 6,000 years, although a long time in our minds, never ever lost its value. If anything, it increased with each passing prophecy and fulfillment. Even more amazing and most valuable is the Spirit and the Bride in the book of Revelation 22:17, who came to bring eternal life by giving freely the water of life. Thank you Heavenly Father and Mother!

Don't give up (2) |Ahnsahnghong

Friday, October 30, 2009

Just like the pelican and frog picture below, in the face of danger when it seems that we were captured and get consumed, let’s rely on God even more to give us the wisdom and strength to overcome all trials, persecutions and difficulties until we enter the kingdom of heaven!

Don't give up|Ahnsahnghong

The key to having a successful entrepreneurship is to have a positive mindset, a can do attitude and the heart never to give up. It involves many sleepless nights, a lot of will and many sacrifices. Although many times, you find yourself facing many people and situations telling you NO, your heart and mind still prompts you to say YES in the many faces of No. The easiest thing to do is to quit, give up and close that chapter in your life. One example is Bill Gates, now the chairman of Microsoft. His personal interest and pursuit in the now ever popular personal computers, has gained him worldwide recognition, fame and a very comfortable lifestyle. To his many Nos, it took that one time for the Yes to bring his whole life’s work and effort to come into fruition. But what does this have to do with God’s boundless grace, mercy and salvation for us. In our life of true faith, we also face the many Nos. All of lives, the concept of Sunday worship, Christmas, Easter and Communion and so on was deeply embedded as a result of family tradition that were inherently passed down. However, when God blesses you with spiritual eyes and spiritual ears, the blurred images thought to be have been true have now become so clear. Elohim God, in the Bible have repeatedly mentioned Passover, Sabbath and all of the feasts of God. Although, the word of God has been unfortunately added to, taken away and interpreted, 2nd coming Christ came back to bring salvation and restore His words of Truth. It’s truly amazing because God does not give up on His children. God never lets go of our feeble arms. Regardless of what the traditions of this world depict, the word of God is absolute and overrides everything. God’s patience and endless love and sacrifice means our salvation. Please, let’s not give up. Please let’s not let go of God’s hands.

Truth is in the Bible| Ahnsahnghong

The internet has incredibly evolved to become the #1 source of information. It has evolved to accommodate lifestyles, laws and the like. Before the internet, however, people readily received their information, thru word of mouth, regular mail, verbal conversations via phone and face to face and of course thru books, ie encyclopedia, dictionary and non-fiction paperbacks. As the world evolved, so have people’s attitudes, behaviors, beliefs and customs. This constant change has led to the mistrust of what was once considered a staple in the way of life. When I think of the Bible, I can’t help but to be so thankful because the word of God is truly beyond perfect. It doesn’t require man’s interpretation opinions or experiences. God knows man’s hearts and motives. Because we are all sinners (Romans 6:23) who are destined to die, God almighty came in the flesh to testify about Himself thru the Bible and show the way of salvation. Jesus Christ said in John 5:39, You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you posses eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me yet you refuse to come to me to have life.” Jesus Christ used the Scriptures (Bible) to testify about Himself. That’s why the word of God is so perfect because He is perfect. The only trustworthy and unfailing source to learn and come close to God is only thru the Bible. Not the internet. The Bible has not evolved. It bears witness to prophecies and fulfillment. Therefore, even though the internet can be a good source to post a classified ad, it can no way match up to God’s words of eternal life that are found nowhere else but the Bible.

Mother’s hands| Ahnsahnghong

Mother’s hands are warm to the touch
Embracing the children that She loves so much
The hands that lift you up from the perils of this world
The hands that comfort you with a heart that unfurls
The tireless work are displayed on the hands that raised us from birth
Who nurtured the spirits and came down to the earth
Although I will never understand how much you love and care for me
Let Your hands be the ones that always carry me

Title: God’s strength|Ahnsahnghong

Before the Truth, a few years ago I attended a couple of seminars that were supposed to help with motivation. The speaker always used encouraging words and defined methods that, thru daily incorporation, would greatly help in behaviors and self confidence. The key to having a successful output in anything you did was to: set daily goals, wake up and go to sleep with a positive mind and outlook, always SMILE, display a Can Do attitude and do better today then you did yesterday. Looking back now, I understand how I can apply this spiritually.
God said to be joyful always, pray continuously and be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's for you in Christ Jesus. (1thessalonians, 5:16). After the Israelites escaped Egypt thru the Passover and were marching towards the land of Canaan that God had promised them, they found themselves in the Desert of Sinai. In the Desert of Sinai, the Israelites became increasingly discouraged and as a result, they complained, committed sexual immorality, made and worshipped idols and tested God. After 40 years of wandering in the Desert of Sinai, only Joshua and Caleb remained faithful and believed in God's promise for them- the land of Canaan.
The word of God is so powerful and His word never comes back empty. I hope to have the mind to be positive, the heart to be encouraged and give encouragement. Also, the drive to be focused, to SMILE in every occasion, to proclaim God's truth to more people tomorrow then I did today and to display that I can do anything thru God's strength.

Bible is a manual|Ahnsahnghong!

You finally bought the shiny, light and new model bicycle that everyone is talking about on your block. Excitedly, you haul it to your car with much enthusiasm and can't wait to get it home to show it off to the neighbors. As soon as you turn into your drive way, you open up the garage door, pop the trunk open and proudly haul it to your door. Since no one is home, you fiercely put all your energy in opening that big box. You carefully take out all its contents, one by one and lay them on the floor next to each other. After taking out the many pieces of styrofoam and plastic, you finally find the manual taped to the inside of the box. But wait! You hurry back to the garage because you needs those special tools to mount the bicycle. You pick up the manual again, only to find out it is not in your native language. All the more, after carefully recounting, you discover that some pieces are missing. And of course they are the most important pieces to the bicycle. You take a deep breath and call the manager of the store only to find out that it is a clearance item and was sold as is!

Ok, take a deep breath.....
According to the online Merriam- Webster dictionary, a manual is "a book that is conveniently handled; especially : handbook . If you click on handbook, the definition reads even more clearer: "a concise reference book covering a particular subject"
When I think of the Bible, it is a manual for our salvation. However, unlike the story mentioned above, the Bible is not heavy so it can be carried any and everywhere. One does not have to worry about its contents being missing because Elohim Gods' words are perfect. You don't special tools to put it together. God already put it together. The only special tools you will need are spiritual eyes and ears which God has blessed us with. Language is an not an issue because in any language the word of God remains the same. There's no need to return it! God's words are constantly reviving the soul because it is living and active. Lastly, like any manual, following each step one by one results in the final finished product. More importantly, carefully reading, understanding, accepting and obeying the words of God leads us to our final destination, the kingdom of heaven!
Thank you Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother for allowing me this understanding!

OT and New Testament Sabbath (6)

How, as the royal priesthood and chosen people of God do we work in the sanctuary? In following the example of Jesus Christ who came as the high priest in the order of Melchizedek (Hebrews 6:20: where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek) let's understand how we should worship. In John 4:23-24 it reads, Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and truth. How do we worship? In Spirit and in truth! Where do we worship? At home? at the beach? In the temple! But how do we truly worhip in spirit and truth? The priesthood should follow the high priest no longer in the order of Aaron but in the order of the high priest forever in the order of Melchizedek. The high priest is Jesus Christ! Let's see what example Jesus gave us. In Luke 4:16, it reads, He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read. Here, Jesus Christ's custom was to go to the synagogue (church) on the Sabbath day. In verses17-18 "The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed.... Jesus Christ went to the synagogue every Sabbath as was his custom and read the scroll (scriptures) from the prophet Isaiah found in the Old Testament. In the Old Testament, it was really hard to keep the Sabbath day and therefore was not perfect. However, when Jesus Christ fulfilled the law, his example is to worship in spirit and in truth every Sabbath at church while reading from the Bible. How much mercy does God have on us. Nowadays, not many people keep the Sabbath day because of wordly obligations. However, God allows us the opportunity to repent and worship correctly as the example Jesus Christ showed us 2000 years ago. Thank you God for your boundless mercy and grace.

How difficult it was to keep the regulations for Sabbath that were required in the Old Testament! Then in the New Testament how did Jesus Christ complete the law? Just like in the Old Testament, the priests were the only ones allowed to work and their work was done in the sanctuary. Who, then are the priests in the New Testament? In 1 Peter 2:9, But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation. God said we are chosen! God said we are a royal priesthood! God said we are a holy nation! How are we made holy? By keeping the Sabbath day, Saturday, the 7th day of the week! If we continue in verse 10, Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God, once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. God allowed us so much mercy in keeping the Sabbath day as Jesus Christ taught us in the New Testament. God said we are a royal priesthood. Just like the priests who worked in the sancturay in the Old Testament, we as the royal priesthood also have to work. How do we work?

OT and New Testament Sabbath (4)

Previously, we learned that in the Old Testament, the Sabbath was kept by not doing work and by bringing two perfect year lambs without defect Sabbath after Sabbath. There was another offering that the Israelites were to bring Sabbath after Sabbath. In Leviticus, 24:5:7 it reads, Take fine flour and bake twelve loaves of bread, using two tenths of an ephah for each loaf. Set them in two rows, six in each row, on the table of pure gold before the Lord. Along each row put some pure incense as a memorial portion to represent the bread and to be an offering made to the Lord by fire. This bread is to be set out before the Lord regularly, Sabbath after Sabbath on behalf of the Israelites, as a lasting covenant. The twelve loaves of bread were to be presented before the Lord in two rows, six loaves in each row every Sabbath. Therefore, to review, on the Sabbath day: one could not work or else he was put to death, the offering of two perfect year lambs without defect and twelve loaves of bread, six loaves in each row. If we think about the offerings that were made, it does require some type of work. However, if we recall previously, God said no work was to be done on the Sabbath day. Let's see who was to present the offerings. In verse 9, It belongs to Aaron and his sons, who are to eat it in a holy place, because it is a most holy part of their regular share of the offerings made to the Lord by fire. Aaron was the high priest in the Levitical priesthood who presented the offerings to the Lord. Aaron's sons were part of the Levitical priesthood. The priesthood always worked in the sanctuary. In the Old Testament, only the priests worked. In the New Testament, who are the priests?

What does God consider work on the Sabbath day? In Numbers 15:32-36, it reads, While the Israelites were in the desert, a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day. Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly and they kept him in custody, because it was not clear what should be done to him. Then the Lord said to Moses, "The man must die. The whole assembly must stone him outside the camp." So the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the Lord commanded Moses. On the Sabbath day, a man was gathering wood and as a result God told the Israelites to stone him to death. If we think about the situation, the man may have been gathering wood to cook for his family or to start a fire in order to keep warm. However, God deemed it as work and the result was death. How difficult and strict was it to keep from doing any work? But because God said, it was necessary to follow. Not only could you not work on the Sabbath but there was another regulation in keeping the Sabbath.
In Numbers 28: 9-10, it reads, On the Sabbath day, make an offering of two lambs a year old without defect, together with its drink offering and grain offering of two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil. This is the burnt offering for every Sabbath in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.
They were to bring two perfect lambs every Sabbath. In mathematical terms, 2 lambs every Sabbath multiplied by 52 weeks or Sabbaths in a year is 104 perfect one year lambs a year. How difficult! Not only did the lambs have to be without blemish but they also needed to be one year old and brought every Sabbath. We understand to this point that they couldn't do any work or be put to death and also two perfect year old lambs were to be brought every Sabbath. There was another offering....

OT and New Testament Sabbath (2)

Since the priesthood changed from the order of Aaron to the order of Melchizedek, what else changed? In Hebrews 7:12, it reads, For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law. As we can see, something changed not abolished. When we can think about the word "order" as in the order of Melchizedek, what does it signify? Basically, the way or manner it which something was kept from the Old Testament to the New Testament. In order to understand the change, we need to understand how it changed from the Old Testament to the New Testament. Then, in order to understand how Sabbath is kept in accordance with the example that Jesus Christ taught us, we need to understand how it was kept in the Old Testament.
In Exodus 31:12-13, it reads, Then the Lord said to Moses, Say to the Israelites, you must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between you and Me for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the Lord, who makes you holy. At this time, Jehovah God gave the Israelites a command. God did not suggest or ask for them to observe His Sabbaths but He said you Must observe Sabbaths. Why? By keeping God's Sabbaths we get a sign between God and us. Recalling God's messsage in Genesis 2:1-3, God promised rest, blessings and holiness on the 7th Sabbath (Saturday). How amazing because we also realize that God also promised a sign between us and Him by observing the Sabbath. God acknowledges us on the Sabbath day! If we continue in verses 14-15, it reads, Observe the Sabbath becuase it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it must be put to death;whoever does any work on that day must be cut off from His people. For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day must be put to death. In verse 14, anyone who desecrates the Sabbath, is put to death. In verse 15, whoever works on the Sabbath day is put to death. Hence, to desecrate the Sabbath is to work on the Sabbath. However, what is work? If I move a pencil from one end of the table to the other end, is that what God considers work? Although it does not require a lot of effort, we need to understand and accept God's viewpoint on what work is.

OT and New Testament

Jesus Christ, 2000 years ago, showed us Christians many examples as He said in John 13:15, I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. In one of my first blogs, we saw thru the Bible, that the Sabbath day not Sunday is the true day of worship. God's promises rest, blessings and holiness on the the 7th day (Saturday) as mentioned in Genesis 2:1-3. However in keeping the Sabbath day, many think that it was abolished by Jesus Christ 2000 years ago. We have to get confirmation thru the Bible if Jesus abolished the Sabbath or did He do somthing else.
In the book of Matthew 5:17-18 it reads, Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Jesus said that He did not come to abolish the Law or the Prophets but to fulfill them. The Law and the Prophets is found in the Old Testament. He didn't come to abolish the Old Testament but fulfill it. Therefore, the status of the Old Testament was unfulfilled, incomplete and imperfect. When Jesus Christ came, He came to fulfill, complete and make perfect the law in the New Testament. We need to understand what happened to the law of the Sabbath. In Hebrews 7:11, it reads, If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood( for on the bais of it the law was given to the people) why was there still need for another priest to come-one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron? In the beginning of this verse, we see a condition, IF. The Levitical priesthood found in the Old Testament was given through the order of Aaron , the high priest and the law was given to the people. However, if the Levitical priesthood was not perfect, then what happened? Another priest came not in the order of Aaron but in the order of Melchizedek. Then, who came as the the high priest in the order of Melchizedek?

In the book of Luke, let's see Jesus Christ's mind in celebrating the Passover. Luke 21:7-8, Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover Lamb had to be sacrificed. Jesus sent Peter and John saying, " Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover. If we continue in verse 13, When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table. And he said to them, " I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer..." Jesus Christ eagerly desired to celebrate the Passover. Why? Does Jesus need forgiveness of sins? Absolutely not! Does he not have eternal life? He is eternal life! But he humbled himself in the flesh to give the one thing sinners need in order to have eternal life and go back to the kingdom of heaven! Thank you God for this great understanding. How happy would Jesus be if we celebrate the Passover? In Luke 15:7, I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents that over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. How does a sinner repent? By partaking in the Passover! How much rejoicing there is in heaven for one sinner who repents! Please keep the true Passover as testified in the Bible so that we can go back to the kingdom of heaven rejoicing day after day by God's side as heavenly angels!

The Truth..Soul cont'd (7)

How can we receive forgiveness of our sins? In Ephesians 1:7, it reads, In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace. Who do we receive the forgiveness of sins from? If you read verse 3, it says, Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ, we receive forgiveness or redemption of our sins through His blood. Since we need Jesus Christ's blood in order to be forgiven of our sins, how can we partake in His blood? Did Jesus tell us how can we partake in His blood? And, once we are forgiven of our sins, then what goes away? In Matthew 26:17-19, On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?" He replied, "Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, "The Teacher says My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with My disciples at your house." So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover. As we can see, the disciples were preparing to celebrate the Passover with Jesus Christ at the appointed time. How is the Passover celebrated? In verse 26, While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to His disciples, saying "Take and eat; this is my body." The Passover bread is Jesus Christ's body. In verses 27-28, Then He took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them saying, "Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. The Passover wine is Jesus Christ's blood by which He promises the forgiveness of sins! If we partake in the Passover as Jesus directed his disciples, we get redemption or forgiveness of our sins. The wages of sin is death but we are forgiven through Jesus Christ body and blood by celebrating the Passover. Therefore, if there is no more sin, then there is no more death. If we have no death what remains is eternal life! How amazing! The Bible clearly tells us that only through the PASSOVER that Jesus Christ celebrated, can we get forgiveness of our sins. Not through Euchrist. Not through Communion. The Bible never mentions this. Only through the Passover as tesstified in the Bible! What was Jesus Christ's mind in celebrating the Passover?

We all want to go to the kingdom of heaven to be with God Almighty. However, we cannot go back to heaven full of sin. In Romans 6:23, the wages of sin is death. No one on this earth, regardless of age, race or background can escape the one thing that is inevitable. Thru the Bible, we saw that Job and King Solomon testified that we were in heaven before with God. We were heavenly angels! Then why are we here on this earth where there is no escaping the sorrow, pain suffering and agony? No one would volunteer to come to this earth full of trouble and despair knowing that we delighted with God day after day. Then if we long for the kingdom of heaven, how do we get rid of our sin? Thru the testimony of Jesus Christ, let's understand why He came 2,000 years ago.
In the book of Luke 19:10 it reads, For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost. Who is the Son of Man? According to John 9:35-37, the Son of Man is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ came to seek and save the lost. Jesus Christ, who was in the kingdom of heaven, came to this earth in the flesh to seek and save the lost. Who, then are the lost? If we think about it, our spirits were in the kingdom of heaven but we are on the earth in the flesh. Jesus Christ, left His heavenly throne and came to the earth in the flesh to seek and save something very valuable- the lost. Therefore, we are the lost from heaven. But why are we lost? In Matthew 9:13, Jesus said, But go and learn what this means, I desire mercy not sacrifice. For I have not come to call the righteous but sinners. According to the Bible, no one on this earth is righteous, not even one (Romans 3:10). We are all sinners because we all have to face death. Where, then did we commit sin? On earth? In heaven? Actually, if we think of a criminal, the criminal commits a crime and as a result is put into jail. When we think of a jail cell, we don't automatically picture a bright and cheerful place. On the contrary, it's cold, lonely, sorrowful and painful---- just like this earth. This earth is a prison where sinners dwell. We were cast down to this earth because we committed grevious sins against God in heaven (Please reference to Ezekiel 28:11-17 an Isaiah 14:12-15). We tried to raise our throne above God's... We became proud and sinned against God. Sin cannot remain in heaven and as such we were all cast down to the earth waiting for our penalty of death. I'm so sorry to God for this! But God, full of mercy and grace allows us sinners to get forgiveness for our sins. How can we can forgiveness of our sins?

Job was a very faithful servant but everything he had physically was taken away. He was even stricken with a skin disease. However, even thru all his struggles he never cursed God. I always wondered what was God trying to let Job know thru his situations. In Job 38:1-4, 21, it reads, Then the Lord answered Job out of a storm. He said, Who is this that darkens My counsel with words without knowledge? Brace yourself like a man, I will question you and you shall answer me. Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation? Tell me if you undertand.
God asked Job where was he when he laid the earth's foundation. If we think about it, when a house is being built, the foundation gets built first before the entire house is constructed. However, when God asked Job where was he, the earth was not fully completed. Personally, I would not have known how to answer this question let alone attempt to answer it. Job, who existed around 1500 BC could not anwer God. Instead, God let him know in verse 21 that "Surely you know, for you were already born! You have lived so many years!
Physically, Job existed around 1500BC but God let him understand that he was an angel in heaven at the time God laid the earth's foundation. Once again, Wow! God's words are so moving. Thru King Solomon and Job, God is also letting us know that we were all angels in the kingdom of heaven rejoicing day after day. But wait a minute, if we were rejoicing with GOD in heaven day after day THEN why are we here on this earth experiencing sorrow, pain and suffering? Thru Jesus' coming 2000 years ago, we can find out why.

In my previous blog, we were allowed so much understanding from GOD. Thru the wisdom given to King Solomon from God, he clearly testified that he was in heaven before with God. Let's see more testimony thru the Bible that we were in heaven before thru the story of Job. Do you know about Job? (Please refernce Job 1:1-22, 2:1-10) He was a very faithful servant of God. He had a large family, vast lands, abundant livestock and many servants. He was blessed by God. However, Satan presented himself before the Lord and said that Job was blameless and upright because God had given him everything. Satan was sure that if everything physically was taken away from Job, he would curse God. God allowed Satan to take everything away with the exception of laying a finger on Job. As a result, everything that Job had physically was taken away even his sons and daughters. However, Job did not curse God, rather, he shaved his head and tore his robe and worshipped God.
Job's second test came about when Satan again presented himself before the Lord. Satan was adament that Job would curse God if his flesh was struck. God allowed Satan to strike his flesh but to spare Job's life. As a result, Job was afflicted with painful sores all over his body that he even took a piece of broken pottery and scraped himself. His wife, at this point told Job to curse God. However, even in this painful circumstance Job did not curse God.
Then, thru all this what was Job feeling?

Did you figure out who were the two figures that GOD used to give testimony that we were in heaven before?..... One of them is King Solomon! To give you a brief history about King Solomon; at an early age, he was given a kingdom to rule over. King Solomon, prayed eagerly and offered 1,000 sacrifices to God and asked God for wisdom on how to correctly rule over God's people. God was moved and gave King Solomon wisdom. Thru God's wisdom given to King Solomon, let's understand about the fact that we were in heaven before thru the book of Proverbs.
The book of Proverbs are of King Solomon (Proverbs 1:1)In Proverbs 8:22-23, it reads, The Lord brought me forth as the first of His works before His deeds of old. I (King Solomon) was appointed from eternity, from the beginning, before the world began. King Solomon said he was appointed from eternity. When we think about eternity, there is only one place that it exists-in the kingdom of heaven, right? He also said that he was appointed before the world began. Scientifically, the world is dated to be 4.5 billion years old but King Solomon said he existed before the world began! He lived at the time of 950 BC. Is it physically possible to exist in 950 BC and be appointed before the world began? Naturally, King Solomon is not referencing his physical body but his true essence- his soul. If we continue in the same book, verses 24-26 it reads, When there were no oceans, I was given birth, when there were no springs abounding with water; before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I (King Solomon) was given birth, before He made the earth or its fields or any of the dust of the world. Let's understand this verse by verse. In verse 24, there are no oceans or springs-basically there is no water! Water is an essential element that human beings cannot live without. We use it to cook, bathe, drink etc.. Even our bodies are made up of approximately 75% water. How important is water for our vital physical existance? Very important! But King Solomon said there was no water!? How can this happen? Again, King Solomon is not speaking physically but spiritually! He was given spiritual birth. In verse 26, before the earth was formed, King Solomon existed. Moreover, before there was any dust, King Solomon existed. As we read in Genesis 2:7, one of the two elements that man is made up of is dust (body). Clearly, he existed before anybody was physically formed. Thru these verses we can understand that King Solomon was in heaven before. How did King Solomon feel in the kingdom of heaven? verse 30 reads" Then I was a craftsman at His side. I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in His presence. King Solomon was a craftsman (builder) by GOD's side. He rejoiced not sometimes but day after day by God's side in heaven! How incredible is this! There is another testimony from a faithful servant to GOD. Do you know who he is?

Monday, September 14, 2009

In my previous blog, I left you with one very important question ..."what happens to our souls? Does it stay with the body or go somewhere else?....... If you go to the book of Ecclesiates 12:7, it reads " and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to GOD who gave it". Wow! God said "and the spirit returns to GOD who gave it". If the spirit returns to GOD, then where is God? Yes, GOD is everywhere because They are omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent! But, where is God's kingdom? In Ecclesiastes 5:2 it reads "... GOD is in heaven..."
Now, if we focus on the word return it means to go back to a place we have been to before. So, if I ask you, have you been to Europe before and you reply no, then obviously you have never been there before. In the same token, if I ask you, will you be returning to work tomorrow and you reply yes, then obviously you have been to work before. Considering this, God said our spirits return to GOD in heaven!!! How AMAZING!!! My soul, your soul, everyone's soul was in heaven before. We were angels in the kingdom of heaven with GOD Almighty! Did you know this before? How powerful and truly amazing are God's words! Actually, God allowed us to see more testimony confirming the fact that we were in heaven thru two recognized figures in the Old Testament. Do you know who they are?

The Truth.. Our souls

Friday, September 11, 2009

In yesterday's blog, I mentioned that thru the Bible, God allows us understanding about our true essence-our soul. Many religions nowadays study about the soul but there is not a clear cut uniformity in the teachings of the soul. In Romans 6:23,".. the wages of sin is death . Because of sin, we all face the inevitable; whether rich or poor, tall or short, blue or brown eyed. Since death touches each and everyone one of us at one point in our lives, then what sin did we commit? where did we commit it? And what does our sin have to do with our soul? By studying about our souls thru the Bible, God allows us a clear understanding of where our souls actually came from and where we are going.
To understand this, in the book of Genesis 2:7, it reads, The Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living being. Here we see that God made a living being out of two specific elements: dust of the ground and breath of life. As a result of these two elements, man became a living being. Apparently, we living beings are not literally made of dust but just like dust that you can see, smell and touch, what on us shares the same characteristics???? Our body! Then what about the breath of life? If you think about an impending rain storm, you will first see the trees swaying helplessly. What is causing the trees to sway? The wind, right? But, do you see the wind? Do you feel the wind? Then, just like the wind, that you cannot see but you know it is there, what in us shares the same characteristics??? Our soul! When the inevitable (death) happens, our bodies return to the ground. However, what happens to our souls? Does it stay with the body or go somewhere else?.......

The TRUTH..... Our souls

In my last blog, I mentioned about the TELEPHONE game. Thru this game, I realized that GOD's message, which never changes, is seen, read and proclaimed about directly from the Bible. So far, I have learned the Truth about the Sabbath day>Saturday>7th day. In the Bible, it is the true day of worship where God gives rest, blessings, hoiliness and a sign between us and Him. Another truth I want to share is about a secret. When I was little, I would always ask my friends, Can you keep a secret? Most of the time, though, the secret was revealed. Thank GOD that the secret I will be sharing with you was revealed due to God's boundless mercy.
Have you ever pondered at one point in your life why do we dwell on this earth? Why is there so much pain, trouble and sorrow? Why, no matter how much prestige, power and fame someone may have in this world, it's still not enough to attain true and complete happiness? In order to fully understand the why's in this world, God wants us to understand the existance of our souls. Sure, we have a physical existance but there is one other element that makes up our true essence- thru God's words, let's have a careful study about our souls...

The TRUTH.....Understanding

Have you ever played the game TELEPHONE? If you haven't it goes something like this. When in a group, one person will start off TELEPHONE. This person will whisper a message in a person's ear and then that person will pass along that same message to the next person and so on.... The object of the game is for the last person to say the message out loud. However, 100% of the times, the original message along the way became distorted. Some people may have added words while some people have taken words away.
Thru this game, GOD allowed me realization about the precious Truth that is in the Bible. GOD never changed His message. GOD never changed His Truth. In fact, it has always been there. In the book of Revelation 22:18-19, God said" I warn everyone who hears of the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, GOD will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes words anyway from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book .
In my previous posting, I mentioned that a warning is actually good for us. God is letting us know that contained within the 66 books of the Bible, are His words. His words are perfect. His words are absolute. His words leads us to Him. Even though HIS original message has been changed by man, just like the game Telephone, we must go to the original source to grasp the original message . Thank you God, for allowing me this understanding.

The TRUTH.. Sabbath(2)

A couple of days ago, I shared with you all my great experience of learning about the Sabbath Day> Saturday> 7th day. If you recall, only on this day did GOD promise rest, blessings and holiness! I was sooo excited to share this great news with everyone I knew. Much to my suprise, in speaking to many of my family members and friends, they were comfortable with keeping man's tradition of Sunday. Even though I couldn't remember all of the verses, I was confident in this one thing- I saw it in the Bible. Further to the study I had a couple of days ago, there is definately more that I really want to share.
In addition, to the rest, blessings and holiness that God promises on the Sabbath day, in Exodus 31:13, God said that the Sabbath will be a sign between us &God. How amazing is that! God acknowledges those who keep the Sabbath day. In our daily lives, we encounter all different types of signs; whether it's the STOP sign at the end of the corner, whether it's going to rain because of the cloudy skies above or whether a cold is coming on because of an ongoing cough. The more I think about, a sign is a warning but not in a bad way. A sign alerts us to be mindful, to be aware. However, if I am not mindful of the cloudy skies, I have a 99% chance of getting soaked. In the same way, GOD wants us to be mindful of keeping the Sabbath day. Thank you GOD for allowing me to look up and recognize your sign.

The TRUTH... Sabbath

Wow! I just had my first Bible study today and I am really motivated to share with you about GOD's precious promise that has it's origination from GOD's creation work.
If you ask anyone in the the world what their favorite/lucky number is, 9 out of 10 times they will tell you the number 7. Why? This number has a special significance in the Bible. From the creation of the world, in
Genesis 2:1-3, we can clearly see the origination of the Sabbath day>7th day> Saturday. But how? On the 7th day, GOD promised three very important things: Rest, blessings and holiness. When we proceed even further in Exodus 20:8-11 (the 4th Commandment), GOD empahsizes the 7th day again naming it the Sabbath day. What is very unique about the first word of the 4th commandment is when GOD tells us to "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy." GOD does not want us to forget the Sabbath day.
We understand that the 7th day is the Sabbath day but how does the 7th day equate to Saturday? Thru the calendar, dictionary and most importantly the Bible, the 7th day IS Saturday. In Mark 16:9, Jesus Christ rose (resurrected) on the first day (Sunday) of the week. For further clarification, in Mark 16:1-2, the Sabbath (7th day) was over... and in verse 2, then the first day (Sunday) of the week came. Wow, this is truly amazing! Without a doubt, GOD said that the promise of rest, blessings and holiness is on the Sabbath day>7th day> Saturday.
Although this message is so clear, then why do so many worship on Sunday the first day of the week? In John 8:47, in order for us to belong to GOD, we must hear what GOD says. Therefore, since GOD said that the Sabbath day>7th day is Saturday , I want to hear what GOD says because I want to belong GOD.
Thank GOD for allowing me this fundamental understanding.

The TRUTH.....

I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I am a 19 yr old college student majoring in Sociology. I picked Sociology because I agreed with its theories of the world's problems being based on social factors. However, the deepest part within me felt like there was something more. There had to be something more out there. I've always pondered upon these two simple yet complex questons: Why is there so much sadness and hate in thie world? And why, despite all of the progress & contributions that women have made through all of the years, is this still a male doimated society? Today, folks, I found the answers. Rather I should say, the Truth found me.
While reviewing my syllabus, I overhead a young female speaking to another student about the Bible. I pretended to read my syllabus when all the while my ears were attentive to their conversation. As I listened, to my surprise, amazement and curiousity, the answers to the above questions came to light. My heart was pounding as the young lady eagerly turned the pages of the Bible and wholeheartedly read the verses. . I was startled by a phone call but I refused to pick it up. Allof a sudden, the young lady was thanking the student for her time. It seemed that the student considered other priorities. I reluctantly shifted my focus back to my syllabus just for a moment when I looked up and saw the young lady!
As we spoke, as the Bible verses came to life, questions flooded my thoughts? We were angels in Heaven before? We were with GOD Almighty? We rejoiced day after day? There is a female image of GOD in the Bible? In the book of Genesis? Admittingly, I have tried to read the whole Bible, but I could never get thru the first couple of pages. How can anyone understand any book without actually having the Author tell his/her audience what he/she meant? Inevitably, her invitation to study more was not an option but Priority #1. I will blog again once I get my first full study....... Stay tuned.......
